Perhaps most notable for providing an early supporting role for Tommy Trinder, this otherwise tiresome comedy – in which an easygoing Scotsman, who is put-upon by his female business partner, and is convinced by a kindly guest at their boarding-house to be more assertive and stick up for himself – seldom raises more than a chuckle (which are few and far between).
