When the team leader of Bravo company’s EOD unit is killed by a remote-detonated bomb, he is replaced with a rather reckless, gung-ho sergeant, who seems to have very little respect for the safety of himself or those around him, leading to rising tensions between the members of the unit, in Bigelow’s intense and visceral yet strangely fun (which it probably shouldn’t be) war movie that often feels like a lost Lethal Weapon sequel.
