A boy falls in love with the girl next door, but unfortunately their respective families disapprove of the match; so when a lover’s note passed between the two of them falls into the wrong hands, a series of misunderstandings and misfortunes befall all and sundry, in this hilarious, inventive, and stunt-filled short film from Buster Keaton.
