Mixing documentary footage with (barely) scripted material, this lyrically shot, incredibly edited, wonderfully scored, and overwhelmingly powerful short feature film – following the rehabilitation of a maladjusted young boy at a school for juvenile delinquents, flashing back to his neglected and abusive home life – is a forgotten classic, ripe for rediscovery.
